The cams above both rotate in an anti clockwise direction once the driving magnet receives a pulse that lasts between 200-400 millisecs. The cam for the once a day pulse, the rear one, has lifted the spring set and is giving a pulse at this stage. This pulse, according to the specifications, should last for "a few minutes before and after 1 o'clock PM".
Whilst the hourly pulse cam, the front one, has already given a pulse 2.5 minutes ago, on the hour.
